POSITION SUMMARY:

Positions is responsible for the management of KPI’s for the equipment needed for operations by the Intermodal Terminals for the KCSR and KCSM

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

College degree is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

2 years railroad management and / or m & r experience.

SKILLS:

-Strong verbal and written skills.

-Ability to present service review documentation to both internal and external associates.

-Ability to present data to the appropriate parties that identifies opportunities for improvement.

-Ability to utilize mathematical formulas to create appropriate documents for reviews.

-Proficiency in MCS and LMS systems preferred

JOB DUTIES:

-Establish and maintain the chassis pool requirements for each terminal

-Manage the chassis velocity for both good and bad order chassis. Develop chassis usage KPI and action plans to maintain compliance

-Identify terminal dwell measure for intermodal and automotive terminals, report results and work with commercial teams to develop improvement plans

-Manage the RES-1 account and publish reports of KPI for rail controlled equipment

-Manage terminal equipment to insure compliance to maintenance schedules and hours of service standards.

-Communicate rail control equipment velocity to commercial teams to improve capacity of available containers

-Assist in ensuring special resources are allocated during critically sensitive operations.

-Process equipment damage invoices from customers.

-Work with the Administrative Coordinator to process all bill back claims.

-Maintain IMRS (intermodal equipment m & r) KPI reports
