Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst
Improves Quality Assurance processes and tools used by KCS IT. Reviews current quality assurance processes and tools and looks for improvement opportunities. Creates the quality assurance strategies in a given project. Coordinate and follow up the activities of QA Analysts to ensure the conformance with the established KCS Quality Assurance processes. Guide the business users who are stakeholders on IT projects through the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of a project.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or
University in Computer Science
5 years software testing or software quality assurance
Training in software testing, quality assurance, and software testing tools.
Strong understanding of Software Development methodologies.
Experience on test script automation.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Testing tool such as HP Quality Center
Windows PC skills
An understanding of software development lifecycle

Assurance processes and tools and looks for improvement opportunities.
Creates test strategies to coordinate, plan, design, automate, execute and follow up the QA functions in a given project.
Creates test scenarios, test cases, user acceptance test scenarios, conduct testing, follow up defects until resolution, log test results and create test progress reports. Conducts quality reviews of documents throughout the project life cycle prior to sign off.
Oversees the testing activities of Quality Assurance analysts to ensure the conformance with the established KCS Quality Assurance processes. As needed, review the testing, testing artifacts, and schedules for those in a test analyst role on a project.
Guides the business users on IT projects through the user acceptance testing phase of a project.
Determine the test automation approach on a project by identifying if the project is candidate for script automation, stress or load test.
