Operations Support Manager - Demurrage
This position will have a broad scope of responsibilities related to operations support, customer satisfaction, asset utilization, and quality assurance through an effective operations management and metrics-based approach. Additionally, this position will ensure the proper application of KCS’s Demurrage Tariff and must effectively communicate and train customers as well as internal union and non-union personnel at all levels in various areas (e.g., Operations, Sales and Marketing, Service Design, and Revenue Management) on demurrage processes and procedures in order to maximize assessorial revenue.
Manages customer disputes to comply with company policies and procedures.
Monitors Lease Track Compliance and accuracy of car events.
Establishes and executes both internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Develops metrics for monitoring accuracy of billing events.
Provides operations support, training and mentoring to transportation on Demurrage processes.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university – Business, Accounting, or Finance
Three (3) years - Operations Management, Customer Service, and Process Improvement Management
Three (3) years - Experience producing, reviewing, and acting on production throughput & productivity
Three (3) years - Experience with coaching, mentoring or supervision of staff
